Help Us Support 80 Survivors this Giving Tuesday – A Lifeline for Safety and Independence
Your gift of $180 provides a phone and 4 months of service, empowering a survivor of domestic violence with the connection to safety, support, and a fresh start. You have the power to change lives.

Every minute, 24 people in the U.S. are abused by an intimate partner—that’s over 12 million people annually. Many survivors find themselves without safe ways to reach out for help, leaving them isolated and trapped in dangerous situations.
At More Than a Phone, we partner with domestic violence programs nationwide to provide survivors with free and safe smartphones. These phones are more than just a device—they are a lifeline. For survivors, they represent the first step toward safety, a way to contact emergency services, reach out to loved ones, and access the resources they need to reclaim their independence.
"Now I can call my best friend and tell her I'm safe."
This simple, yet powerful statement from one of our survivors illustrates the difference your support will make. A phone means safety. It means connection. It means hope.
Why Your Support Matters
This Giving Tuesday, we’re aiming to raise $14,400 to support two communities and provide 80 survivors with life-saving phones. Your donation will put safe, reliable phones into the hands of survivors, giving them the critical connection they need to escape abuse and begin rebuilding their lives.
The Urgent Need for Connection
In the U.S., 1 in 4 women and 1 in 9 men experience severe intimate partner abuse. For many survivors, having a phone is the difference between remaining in harm’s way and taking the courageous step toward freedom. Your support ensures no survivor is left without a way to reach out for help, reconnect with their support systems, and regain control over their life.
How You Can Help
With a gift of $180—just $15 per month—you provide a survivor with a phone and four months of service. This isn’t just a phone—it’s a lifeline to safety, support, and the resources needed to escape abuse and rebuild a brighter future. Your support directly empowers survivors to take control of their lives and regain independence.
